W/D Thank you for the invitation. If I ever get the chance you can bet I will take you up on that. Would love to make the trip down your way. I've been luck so far with my savage. I don't have any oil leaks at 3500 miles and never had a problem with fuses. Ive been using a Suzuki synth/blend oil. As far as the carb goes when I bought the bike it had been in storage for almost two years so I just took it straight to the shop and told them to get it running. I also took a copy of one of the post about removing the white spacer and asked them to do that. I ordered a super-trapp and put it on when I got the bike home. After a few trips I decided to rejet the carb and went up one size. While I was doing this I thought I would double check and see if the dealer had removed the white spacer. Wouldn't you know it got three out of four screws out but messed the fourth one up so I could'nt check it out. Afew days ago I decided to modify the air cleaner. I ordered the green foam and made a new air filter which again made the bike seem to run leaner. So last saturday I rejetted up to a 155. (I've also adjusted the low speed/idle jet) The bike runs really good but not perfect. Some rainy day I'm going to get into the carb and check on that white spacer just to satisify myself that that white spacer is gone. I really do like the savage but someday I would like to move up to something just a tad bigger. Right now I'm thinking a Shadow or Marauder but that is way down the road. Have a nice weekend!! Be talking with you on Tuesday. John
